2014 Chevrolet SS

Chevrolets first V8-engined sports car with rear-wheel drive sedan since the demise of the Impala SS in 1966. Designed to deliver performance even in the street and the race track. The 2014 Chevrolet SS will be released this weekend at Daytona International Speedway. We believe that the Daytona 500 is a good test debut.
The comfort, convenience, breadth and power of the V8 car will bring total return. Merk Reuss, president of GM North America said: "The Chevrolet brand was built largely on the strength of our rear-drive sedan, however, that 17 years ago did not offer one"
The 2014 Chevrolet SS combines high performance and performance details.
John Cafaro, design director for Tourism and mixed models of Chevrolet small: "From every angle, the 2014 Chevrolet SS speaks of power and performance does the combination of rear-wheel drive with an aggressive attitude and posture appropriate balance? And refinement details both inside and out Do bumper air intakes have large, glossy black plastic trim and LED daytime running lights. The front and rear corners slightly staggered with sunken sport looking to improve posture. The front hood aluminum mount has a slight hinting at the engines power. Lights come with chrome and headlights high intensity discharge and LCD for daytime.

interior |
The spacious interior of the 2014 Chevrolet SS allows 5 adults traveling. 42 inches front legroom and 39 inches of rear legroom. Leather seats come from the standard version.
The front seats allow for up to eight positions with bucket format. With additional lateral support for the driver to his arm in difficult driving situations. The SS emblem embossed on the instrument panel is soft to the touch and has two types of finishes chrome satin finish in one hand and gleaming chrome. At night, the interior is illuminated by ambient light ice blue.
For many critics the 2014 Chevrolet SS is a version of the Holden Commodore SS V. The platform on which is built the Zeta employed by General Motors Holden Commodore and Chevrolet Camaro. We believe that the experience gained with the Caprice Police Patrol help much for the 2014 Chevrolet SS reach the goals set by the brand.
The 2014 Chevrolet SS is powered by the LS3 engine Chevrolet V-8, which is expected to generate 415hp and 415 lb-ft of torque. It is also used in the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette, the LS3 can use 6.2 liters, and more than the V-8 competitors in NASCAR only allows 5.5-liters.
The LS3 is associated with a six-speed automatic transmission, which can be changed manually using TAP shift controls mounted on the steering wheel. The 2014 Chevrolet SS accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about five seconds, making it one of the fastest sedans in the market.
The 2014 Chevrolet SS features a sport-tuned chassis that includes MacPherson strut front suspension and multilink independent rear suspension geometry. System with electronic power steering, optimized for sporty driving. Brembo brakes with 355-mm vented rotors and two-piece, four-piston front calipers.
Aluminum wheels and high performance Bridgestone tires. The front tire: 19 x 8.5-inch wheels and 245/40ZR19 rear tires: 19 x 9.0 inches with 275/35ZR19 tires.
Easy driving due to the weight distribution and low center of gravity. This made possible by the use of aluminum in the rear cover panels which are 30% lighter than conventional steel.

Yep, its the new MDX. And despite being totally redone, it looks exactly like we expected. That is, its an up-sized version of the RDX crossover with fancy LED lights stolen from the RLX sedan. And while that might not sound too exciting, we have to say, it is handsome – certainly a more cohesive, refined design than the angular, beak-tastic model thats currently on sale.
Acura is calling this 2014 MDX a prototype, but thats only because it isnt 100-percent finished. Everything you see here will likely carry over to production, maybe with a couple small tweaks. Under the hood is the same 3.5-liter V6 that we know and love from the Honda group, and while we dont have power figures just yet, Acura says it will deliver more torque while improving efficiency. In redesigning the MDX, the Japanese automaker has managed to lighten and stiffen the chassis, improving driving dynamics. More interestingly, for the first time Acura will offer a front-wheel-drive version of the MDX, but dont worry, the automakers SH-AWD all-wheel drive will be available.

This 2014 Acura MDX Prototype is exactly what we expected may be a prototype, but well see the production version very, very soon. Scroll down for the full details in Acuras release.

Audi prices 2014 A8L TDI from 82 500
Audi prices 2014 A8L TDI from $82,500 The whole new range of diesel models will be powered by Audis 3.0-liter TDI V6, good for 240 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque in this application. Of course, Quattro all-wheel drive is standard, and even in the big A8, the diesel grunt will be enough to propel the long-wheelbase flagship to 60 miles per hour in 6.4 seconds (almost a full second slower than the A8 3.0T we reviewed last fall). That said, the A8 TDI should still be a pretty engaging steer, and considering the fact that this thing will reportedly return fuel economy figures of up to 36 miles per gallon on the highway (24 in the city), a slightly slower launch time is well worth it. (The A8 3.0T tops out at 28 mpg highway.)

Audi prices 2014 A8L TDI from $82,500 |
uring the Los Angeles Auto Show last November, Audi told us that it would be bringing four new diesel-powered models to the United States this year. The first to arrive is the 2014 A8L TDI you see here, and weve now learned that the big oil-sipper will be priced from $82,500, (*excluding $895 for destination).
Elsewhere in the segment, Mercedes-Benz offers a diesel version of its S-Class flagship, retailing for $93,000 and good for fuel economy figures of 21/31 mpg city/highway. By comparison, the A8 TDI seems like a steal, and well be interested to see where the forthcoming BMW 7 Series diesel falls into the class of huge oil-burning barges.
The 2014 Audi A8L TDI will hit showrooms in the US this spring. For the full details, scroll down to read the automakers brief press blast.
